about Dr. Alonzo Walker

Dr. Walker is a forward thinking educator and strategic business partner recognized for driving change to implement profitable business objectives and building relationships with client groups. An adaptable and industrious Human Resources executive, he has extensive involvement in a variety of industries including, professional services, manufacturing, health care, financial services and consulting.
In addition to his Human Capital Management platform, he now has the new platform of his podcast, A Better You, that was specifically designed to expose and remove the barriers to you becoming your best self through common-sense change in the way you see yourself and how you process the information available to you. One of the key drivers of this platform is his return to graduate school to pursue his doctorate at the age of 51 and finishing at the age of 55. He shares his wisdom, experience and enlightenment with you as well as interacting with you on how to transform your ideas for continuous improvement into reality.
Dr. Walker earned his bachelors (cum laude) and masters degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and has an earned Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Education Policy & Organization Leadership with a concentration in Human Resource Development from the University of Illinois, Champaign.
